Tsukuba Express (つくばエクスプレス, Tsukuba Ekusupresu) is a Japanese railway line that connects Akihabara in Tokyo to Tsukuba in Ibaraki Prefecture. The railway is known for its high-speed service, helping to facilitate transportation between urban and suburban areas. Opened in 2005, it is operated by the Metropolitan Intercity Railway Company and features both commuter and limited express services.
